Research

Patient-Centered Evidence-Based Medical Question and Answer

This project aims at the development of a medical question and answer system that will provide an easy-to-use interface for clinicians to retrieve evidence-based and patient-centered answers at the point of care. We research text mining and understanding algorithms for both structured and unstructured evidence-based medicine databases and electronic medical records. Various information retrieval and natural language algorithms are developed and studied in this project.
